Long Drive Contest

The fabulous Wildstone Golf Course driving range is the site for an exciting Long Drive Contest that'll be set against a stunning Rocky Mountain backdrop.

Saturday June 16th (Sam Steele Days) from 2pm to 3pm anyone can enter to see who's the deepest driver of the golf ball and we're donating some great prizes to the winners.

A $5 entry will get participants three balls to try and set the mark for the longest drive.  Come to watch or give it your best shot!

Wildstone Prizes include:

Evolution Golf

Some visitors that come to the Wildstone Golf Course may have actually played the course already.  How is this possible you might ask?

Evolution Golf in Edmonton has indoor golf simulators that feature the Wildstone Golf Course and their customers and spring league participants have been playing Wildstone while the golf course was covered with snow.  We're excited to see how the virtual course matches up with the real golf experience and have joined forces with Evolution Golf to put together a special offer.

More Please!

The Wildstone Golf Course has expanded its menu to include a number of new options to cater to what golfers want before and after a round.  We've now got a breakast buffet that features waffles, breakast burritos, fruit and yogurt...and of course our local Wildstone Blend of Kotenay Roasting Company coffee.

After the round while you're enjoying a beverage and adding up the day's scores try our delicious quesadilla, BBQ burgers or the grilled kabobs...or anything else you prefer.

Time to Play!

The Wildstone Golf Course driving range is open from 11am to 6pm for some pre-opening practice.  The course opens on April 20th in excellent early season condition and will be operating the full facility under normal hours of operation.

New for this season are some changes in the Clubhouse restaurant where there have been some menu upgrades, more options and a daily breakfast buffet that features waffles, fruit and breakfast burritos.

Golf Digest Article

The Wildstone Golf Course wasn't only mentioned in the December issue of Golf Digest, but rather was given a pretty incredible compliment.  Ron Whitten, the Senior Architecture Editor who sees a lot of golf courses around the globe, including the twelve new courses in North America in 2011 declared Wildstone as his "Favorite Round" of the year.  Article Link
